Interview With Mathilde Gøhler
What inspired you to start modeling?
I have always loved being in front of the camera and having my picture taken. I really love the makeup, hair and styling part as well. And besides, I get to travel a lot, which is absolutely amazing 🙂
What was the best advice anyone ever gave you?
Stay true to yourself. I know it sounds kind of corny, but it’s really true. And so important. Listen to yourself!
Being a model isn’t always as easy as people think, whats the hardest part?
Though it seems like a 1st world problem, being away from my boyfriend and my family is the hardest part of this job. I don’t mean to sound unthankful, but sometimes it’s just nice to spend sundays at home with your boyfriend and a good movie.
Tell us about the funnest shoot you’ve been a part of?
I have been a part of a lot of funny jobs. But the winner has to be at a job in Ibiza – the team was SO amazing and we had so much fun. Not a weird thing, I know – but my I seriously had stomach aches when I got home – from all the laughing.
You went to Nairobi, Kenya in 2014, tell us about that experience.
It was absolutely amazing! Just to be able to see this part of the world – and meet these amazing people. They are so grateful, and their mind works in a completely different way than ours; they are happy and thankful – and we should all learn something from that.
If you could meet anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
I know it sounds ridiculous, but I would LOVE to meet Justin Bieber 🙂 What can I say- I am a girly girl 😉
What are your favorite wild animals?
Can my little Maltese dog, Bom, count as a wild animal? 😉
Do you have a favorite Danish tradition?
I love all danish traditions, but Christmas is absolutely amazing. The food, the tree, the presents, everything!
What is your favorite sport?
I must say I really enjoy yoga – it just really calms me down, and it’s good for me, I can fell it.
Is there anything else you’d like our readers to know about you?
I just really want to say thank you to all my followers around the world – I love each and every one of you.
