Nai Li – From Peru to China
Interview With Nai Li
What or who influenced you to start modeling?
I view modeling as a way to express creativity and role-play, portraying someone different, but most of the time that true side of me hidden underneath that most people do not get to see. The experience has incentivized me to always continue in the industry despite my other priorities in life.
Tell us about your ethnicity.
What’s the biggest difference between modeling in the US and China?
Did you have the chance to travel a lot in the US? Where’s your favorite place?
How do you prepare before a shoot? Do you have a routine?
Do you have a favorite candy?
What’s the craziest belief you had as a child?
What’s one fashion trend you hope never comes back? Which ones have come back that you wish hadn’t?
Personally, I cannot understand Jeremy Scott. The collaboration with Adidas, and the McDonald, Sponge-Bob, and Barbie themes for Moschino can be a bit “too much”.
I was not extremely fond of the idea of Mules when they first came back, but I got use to them now.
What’s your favorite food to cook, or to eat?
Which animals scare you most? Why?
